Typography (Fonts)

Fonts are crucial for your brand's personality. Whether you want a modern, classic, or playful look, you can set it here.

How to Change Fonts

1. Go to Theme Settings > Typography.
2. Headings: This changes the font for titles (e.g., "Featured Collection", Product Titles).
3. Body: This changes the font for descriptions, prices, and buttons.

Choosing a Font

• Click Change to browse Shopify's free font library.
• System Fonts: (e.g., Arial, Helvetica) load the fastest because they are already on the customer's computer.
• Google Fonts: (e.g., Roboto, Montserrat) look more unique but take a tiny bit longer to load.

Adjusting Font Size

Is the text too small or too big?

• Scale: Use the Font size scale slider to increase or decrease the base size of all text across the site.
  • 100%: Default size.
  • 110%: Make everything slightly bigger (good for readability).

Advanced Typography

• Line height: Adds more space between lines of text. More space usually makes it easier to read.
• Letter spacing: Adds space between letters. Increasing this for Headings can give a sophisticated, luxury feel.
