Tracking & Analytics
Easily connect your store to Google and Facebook (Meta) to track visitor behavior and sales.
Choose Your Tracking Mode
To avoid double-counting data, please choose one method:
- None: Choose this if you are already using the official Shopify apps for Google & YouTube or Facebook.
- Direct Injection: The simplest method. It just adds the basic tracking code to your site. Good for simple page view tracking.
- Theme Integration: A smarter method that tracks specific events like "Add to Cart" or "View Product".
- Custom Pixel (Recommended): Uses Shopify's modern "Web Pixels" technology. This is the most accurate and secure way to track data.
How to Set Up
- Go to Theme Settings > Tracking & Analytics.
- Enter your IDs in the fields provided:
- GA4 Measurement ID: Starts with
G-(e.g.,G-ABC123456). - Google Ads ID: Starts with
AW-(e.g.,AW-123456789). - Meta Pixel ID: A long number string (e.g.,
123456789012345).
- GA4 Measurement ID: Starts with
UTM Tracking (Advanced)
- Order Attribution: If enabled, the theme will remember where a customer came from (e.g., a specific Facebook ad) and attach that information to their order in your Shopify admin.
- Inquiry Attribution: If enabled, when someone sends you a message through a contact form, it will also tell you where they came from.
