The Slideshow is usually the first thing customers see on your homepage. It's perfect for announcing sales, new arrivals, or telling your brand story.

Which Slideshow Should I Use?

Synergify offers three versions of the slideshow to fit different needs:

  1. Slideshow (Standard): Best for simple, clean image sliders.
  2. Slideshow Pro: Adds more animation and mobile-specific settings.
  3. Slideshow Pro Ultimate: The most powerful version with video backgrounds, countdowns, and advanced animations.

How to Set Up a Slideshow

1. Add the Section

  1. In the Theme Editor, click Add section.
  2. Search for Slideshow (or Pro/Ultimate).
  3. Click to add it to your page.

2. Add Slides (Images/Videos)

  1. Click on the Slideshow section you just added to open its settings.
  2. Under the section, you will see "blocks" like Image Slide. Click on one.
  3. Select Image: Upload your desktop image.
  4. Mobile Image (Important): Upload a separate vertical image for mobile users so it doesn't look cropped.

3. Customize Text & Buttons

  1. Inside the slide block settings, find the Heading and Subheading fields.
  2. Enter your text (e.g., "Summer Sale").
  3. Button Label: Enter text like "Shop Now".
  4. Button Link: Link it to a Collection or Product.

4. Advanced Settings (Pro Ultimate)

If you are using the Ultimate version, you can:

  • Add Video: Paste a video link for a dynamic background.
  • Animations: Choose how text appears (Fade Up, Zoom In).
  • Countdown: Enable a countdown timer for limited-time offers directly on the slide.

Best Practices

  • Don't use too many slides: 3-5 slides are usually enough. Too many can slow down your site.
  • Use high-quality images: But make sure they are optimized (under 500KB is best) to keep your site fast.
  • Always check mobile: Switch to the mobile view in the editor to ensure text is readable.
